Due to the complexity of endodontic anatomy, at least 35% of root walls are uninstrumented during root canal preparation. In addition, the instrumentation generates dentinal sludge which accumulates on the root walls, thus obstructing the tubules and limiting their disinfection during irrigation.

EndoUltra is an endodontic device specifically designed for the intra-canal activation of irrigating solutions during the final rinse, before the final filling.

Based on ultrasonic technology and an operating frequency preset at 40kHz, EndoUltra breaks up biofilm and eliminates blockages at the entrance to the tubules, promotes irrigant penetration and reduces bacterial load through sono-chemistry.
