The INR account is an account in Algerian dinars opened in favor of non-resident foreign companies justifying their presence in Algeria by a public contract concluded with a co-contractor under Algerian law. This account makes it possible to obligatorily collect the part payable in Algerian dinars, intended for local expenses.
It is fed mainly by transfers received from the Algerian co-contractor duly justified within the limit of the amount in dinars, fixed by the contract.
It can be funded, exceptionally, by transfers in foreign currencies received from abroad or from a CEDAC account whose re-export could be ensured thereafter.
Embassies and diplomatic representations approved in Algeria are authorized to open INR accounts in order to receive exclusively their consular receipts.
